Daily Telegraph on Poles in London

It's great to see local press talking about our minority! Harry de Quetteville posted an article about few aspects of current situation of Polish cultural life in London. 'Given that Global London is blogging about foreign communities in the capital, it is perhaps inevitable that our first subject should be Poles and Poland.' It's nice to hear that, but I am also very interested in comments this post will generate. It's interesting to talk to UK citizens about Polish migration - surprisingly (comparing to what I have witnessed in germany or Hungary) opinions are extremely positive. I wonder if next few years will bring a change.
We look at Polish migration from internal point of view. Each of us relocated for various reasons, but for all of us there is a point when we need to decide - go back to our homeland, or continue building our new life in the UK. I think that those of us who will stay, will need to think wisely (mainly if we plan to raise our children here) about incorporating the Polsih culture into UK heritage and vice versa - encouraging local Poles to open (and it is sooo hard!!!) to what British culture has to offer.

So how about opening a milk bar;)? (joke)
Seriously, let's see what happens and have a similiar exchange of opinions in 5 years time!

BTW - it's great to see Michał's blog mentioned in the article! Great stuff!
